Bedding made from chopped wheatstraw - pure nature

Chopped wheatstraw - the 100 % natural alternative to conventional bedding with long straw is cleaned several times. Composting takes place within 6 - 8 weeks, resulting in complete biodegradability.

The enormous ability to absorb moisture (up to 200 %) while halving the amount of manure makes this bedding economically attractive. The chopped version means that this bedding lasts much longer in the stall than traditional straw bedding. The chopped length is approx. 1-7 cm and is compactly packed in bale format.

  • Highly elastic and easy on the joints

Wheat chaff straw - cold-insulating and elastic and labour-saving due to low manure volume

The use of chopped straw produces about half as much manure as the use of long straw. The rapid decomposition results in a pH-neutral fertiliser. This saves you labour and costs. The bedding with chopped straw is dust-reduced and pleasantly insulating for the horses due to its good thermal insulation properties. On average, approx. 5 to 6 bales are required per month. As chopped wheat straw takes up considerably less space than conventional straw, you also save storage space.
