Straw pellets – the alternative to long straw

Straw bedding pellets offer a real alternative to long straw. They are made from 100% wheat straw and combine the best properties for stable bedding. They are highly absorbent and reduce the ammonia odor, creating a significantly improved stable climate. Straw pellets - pure nature helps you with easy application

The bedding pellets are made from 100 % pure nature. We guarantee the consistently high quality and purity of our products. The straw pellets are extremely easy to use. The basic bedding per bag is initially distributed evenly in the box and then slightly moistened with approx. 10 litres per bag. When mucking out, the horse droppings are best removed from above with the help of a shavings fork. The straw pellets decompose very quickly and can be reused as compost. Regular scraping with a pitchfork helps to make the bedding even looser. The weekly re-littering rate is approx. 1 bag. The pellets can also be used as a substrate and supplemented with wood shavings or other bedding alternatives to create an even softer but highly absorbent bed. Disposal can take place via the biogas plant. It is recommended that the pellets are pre-soaked with water outside the box for initial bedding and also for subsequent bedding. The ratio should be mixed 1:2 (1 part water = 2 parts pellets). This process is essential to prevent the horse from eating the pellets.
