Straw pellets – the alternative to long straw

Straw bedding pellets offer a real alternative to long straw. They consist of 100% chemical-free wheat straw and combine the best properties for stall bedding. They are highly absorbent and the smell of ammonia is reduced, resulting in a significantly improved stable climate. Straw pellets provide excellent cushioning under foot, are comfortable, convenient and extremely gentle on joints.

Delivery

We stack and deliver our straw pellets on single-use pallets. We also stretch wrap the bags on each pallet. The straw pellets are supplied either in a bulk bag (1,000kg) or in 50 x 20 kg bags per pallet. We recommend storing the pellet pallets in roofed-over areas or additionally covering them with a dark tarpaulin if kept outdoors.
