Linen straw & chopped straw bedding

Linen straw mix - the alternative to conventional bedding with long straw, enriched with 30% chopped straw. Two naturally renewable raw materials, flax and wheat straw, combined in one bale. For more volume in the bedding than with pure linseed straw.
The linen straw is cleaned several times, uprooted and thoroughly dedusted. The result is flax shives (shives are the relatively uniformly broken particles that are produced during the production of flax fibres in the process of de-wooding the plant stalk).
Flax straw is characterised by its high absorbency, ammonia-binding properties, which reduce odour and improve the climate in the stable. This prevents dust allergies and irritation of the mucous membranes.

Delivery

Delivery takes place in 18 kg bales. We also stretch the bales on the pallet and provide the pallets with a canopy. This guarantees that the bedding is stored safely and protected from the weather. The bales are doubly protected by this special packaging and can be stored outside without any problems.

Linen straw mix - Pleasantly warm and soft, makes work easier

The use of linen straw mix produces about half as much manure as the use of long straw. The rapid rotting results in a pH-neutral fertiliser. This saves you labour and costs. The bedding with linen straw mix is low in dust and pleasantly warm and insulating for the horses due to its good thermal insulation properties. On average, around 4-6 bales are required per month. As the linen straw mix requires significantly less space than conventional straw, you also save storage space.
