Flax Mix – Flax Straw & Chopped Straw
The alternative to conventional long straw bedding, enriched with 30% chopped straw. Two naturally renewable raw materials, flax and wheat straw, combined in one bale. For more volume in the bedding than with pure flax straw. The flax straw is cleaned, uprooted, and thoroughly dusted several times. Flax straw is characterized by its high absorbency and its ability to bind ammonia, which reduces odor and improves the stable climate. This prevents dust allergies and mucous membrane irritation.

Delivery
Delivery is in compact 18 kg bales. We also cover the pallets with a cover to ensure the bedding stays safe and protected from the elements. This special packaging provides double protection for the bales and allows them to be stored outdoors without any problems.
Delivery for customers outside Germany varies depending on the country of destination.
Flax straw mix – Pleasantly warm and soft, making work easier
Using flax straw mix produces significantly less manure than using long straw. Rapid decomposition results in a pH-neutral fertilizer, saving you labor and costs. Bedding made with flax straw mix is low in dust and, thanks to its good thermal insulation properties, pleasantly warm and insulating for horses. Since flax straw mix requires significantly less space than conventional straw, you also save on storage space.
